The time has come to welcome the Navya Ayodhya or the new Ayodhya! An Indian city, mostly known for the demolition of the Babri Masjid, it is ready for a new transformation and a new introduction. From the construction of a new railway station and a modern international airport to wide well-connected roads, Ayodhya is being developed as one of the best tourist destinations in the country.

Undoubtedly, the construction of the Ram temple is one of the biggest ongoing works in the country, considering Ayodhya as the birthplace of Lord Rama. The expansion of the revered city is being called ‘Navya Ayodhya’. As per future plans 1500 acres of settlement will be developed as Vastu friendly Vedic city. The new city will have guest houses from about two dozen Indian states as well as guest houses from five countries.

But the main focus of the new city will still be the Ram Mandir, which is under construction. According to a conservative estimate by the tourism department, the number of tourists to the new township will triple in the coming 10 years and by 2030, more than 6.8 crore people will visit Ayodhya.

CM has also talked about making Ayodhya an eco-friendly city. To make this possible, the entry points of the city will have the facility of electronic vehicles to take the devotees to the temple. To make things convenient for the devotees, there will be parking and multi-level parking areas on all the main roads.

On the other hand, there is also a plan to install a 200 feet high statue of Lord Rama. The statue will be installed on the banks of river Saryu. Apart from this, there are also plans to build a digital museum based on Ram to promote Ayodhya tourism. In future, a rope way may also be introduced in the upcoming Solar City for the convenience of the visitors.
