The IRCTC will be offering the Navratri Special Tourist Train for Mata Vaishno Devi Katra from September 30 and this train will be known as Bharat Gaurav Tourist train.
As per reports, a special tourist train is expected to embark on its maiden journey to Katra on September 30, 2022. The train will depart from Delhi and feature 11 dedicated 3-tier AC coaches to accommodate 600 passengers.
With the addition of hotels in Katra, travelers can stay overnight, too. The price has been set at INR 11990 per person with a two-night stay.
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist train features CCTV cameras, pantry cars, security guards, and other facilities. It is decorated with artwork that is based on ancient Indian texts.
Reportedly, the train has been decorated beautifully, inside and out, to make the journey festive.
The all-inclusive IRCTC tour, offered by the CPRO of IRCTC Anand Kumar Jha, covers a 3rd AC train journey and local buses, both transfer and sightseeing. Hotels are air conditioned and vegetarian meals are provided for. Travel insurance and services of a guide will also be included and tourists will be screened for health precautions before the visit.
After the COVID-19 vaccination is released, all 18 year old or older guests will be vaccinated. To make this plan attractive to the masses, IRCTC has partnered with Paytm and Razorpay for payment options, including EMI payments in small amounts.
